raunchy story....a deal-breaker?

So Mr. Brady & I have been speaking by phone, and will have a second date on Tuesday. He's always very polite when we talk, same as when we met, bought my coffee, got up to get it for me, etc., very understanding if I don't have time to talk because my kids are with me.
So I was surprised when during a conversation, he prefaced a story by telling me it was grotesque, and he hoped it wouldn't offend me. Then he told me about a plane trip from hell where the person across the aisle from him sh** his pants.
Why would anyone tell this type of story a). to a woman, and b) to someone they just met??
Yuck!! Is this a red flag, or at least bizzare to anyone??

It's not bizzare, just innapropriate (although it is kinda funny).
Common sense should have told him that he probably shouldn't share a story
like that with someone he just met, either Male or Female because he does not
know that person and how they will respond to it.
In general, most gentleman tend to steer clear of any sexual jokes, grotesque stories, or anything controversial when dealing with a female that they are interested in because they are trying to put their best foot forward and not offend her.
But of course, people make mistakes too. :)
Maybe he felt comfortable enough with you to share that story...he thought you would've found it quite humorous.
No big deal, no red flag.
No red flag at all!

This story is not making me happy. It sounds like this guy has a bad case of verbal diarrhea himself. He should not discuss things of this nature around a lady. It is really rude. God I am afraid of what he will tell you next. You don't want to hear a run down of every crude experience that he encounters. Now that he is one this path he will probably tell you every time he farts or has the runs. Who wants to hear about that from their significant other? Lordy lordy lordy!

Perhaps I shall cut this poor guy a break, based on the majority of responses!!! Doesn't mean I like it, I can't help it, I hate that type of conversation/jokes, etc., but clearly from you guys' responses, I might be being a little harsh, or looking for excuses to find fault early on. :)
If need be, I'll let him know that this type of thing is not my cup of tea....but I bet it never comes up again.
Thanks for everyone's candor & honesty!!
