Hi - I am new to the board and pretty new to online dating. I know I have probably made an Online Dating faux pas but I contacted (2x) my 'ghost' and he wants to get together.
Originally, he was the one who answered my ad. He wrote a long email complimenting me on one of the best he's ever read, we seem to have alot in common. He appears to be someone I would really like to meet. We wrote back and forth for a few weeks then 'poof' he was gone. I then looked up his profile again and it said that he had problems and anyone who had written to please write back since he could no access his old emails. So I wrote just the standard 'wink' hey how are you? and he wrote back a few days later saying he has 'wanted to hear back from me'.
It sounded like he hadn't received my previous email. I think that my 'wink' was sent after the previous email 'issues'. I know this all sounds confusing but I am confused. Maybe it's all just a line but why would he write about the email problem in his profile (he has since taken that part out)?
Do I give it a second/third chance?
Thanks

Usually I would say no, but in this case I would give him a chance to make up for what happened. If you see his behavior is still the same, then forget it. Get together as soon as you can so you can get the first meet out of the way.
Good luck!
