I'm so regretting now emailing a guy I met that I've been emailing for about 2 wks. It's been two weeks now since we met but I'm still feeling bad about the whole thing. I told him the usual, that we didn't have enough in common, which I guess we didn't, but I still don't know what would've happened if we did go out again. We don't live close to each other so that really got me thinking. I would want to see him more anyway. It still bothers me a lot though having done this and I still think about him.
Has anybody else regretted doing something like this? If so, how did you get over it?

As a matter of fact I have a regret re plan for this weekend... I was chatting with 2 guys both of which asked me out for saturday night (tonight)... I ghosted on one and the other ghosted on me... so now my kids are away for the weekend and I have nothing to do tonight... I think i should take up knitting...

I think that you followed your gut. Sometimes if we don't have someone else waiting in the wings to distract us, we can't help but wonder if the guy we just cut loose should've been given another chance. There were a few things that made you come to the decision not to see him again, trust yourself. Im sure if you set up a few more dates with new prospects you will realize that you made the best decision for YOU at the time. Good Luck!!

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

Definitely trust your guts. Your initial instinct told you to let him go. Trust that.

I find I start regretting things when things quiet down in my life... But if I had options, I would just make the choices I make and be happy. So my question to you: Do you have other options? If not, I would suggest keeping yourself busy or making some new options.

Hope this helps...

Kerry

Thanks everybody. I hope my gut instincts were right. I'm kinda questioning myself but I'm hoping I did the right thing.
