The guy I'm seeing is still showing up under the "My Connections" part of My Match. But when I do a Search in his area his profile isn't there. Why would this be?? When I click on his profile under My Connections he still comes up (Active over 3 Weeks Ago) but when I put in his city he's not there. Strange...

(and don't even go there about his profile still there!! LOL we've had that discussion) LOL

It sounds like he probably has his profile hidden, but maybe because you had prior contact you can still bring it up? At least that's the way it works on Yahoo, not sure about match.

Hi Donna,

Is it Match.com that you use? I know with some guys who have emailed me, they will still show in my emails to the right side of the screen, but when I click on their screen name to bring up their profile, it will say that member's profile is hidden or something like that. So if you have had previous emails or winks from them, then you can see those things, but in the column to the left in your email section where it lists all of your incoming or sent emails, their folder icon is pale grey when their profile is hidden.

So as a new person, you wouldn't be able to look him up by his screen name if it is hidden, but you can still view his emails and winks to you if you have not deleted them and they are not over 30 days old as they automatically get deleted after 30 days.

But when you have past winks and emails from a member and they delete their profile, it will tell you that they are no longer a member and ask you to delete them to make more space for others! How funny that they say that.

That's neat that you two are still dating. No matter what stage of the relationship there are always questions though hey?!

Good luck with everything Donna,
Sunshine
