"seeking " options on sites

I'm using a dating site now that asks what you're seeking and the options are friend, date, sex. I'm wondering what the guys want exactly when they check off the sex option. I know what they want but do they mean they want sex on the first date or when exactly do they expect it? I know they all don't have the same thing in mind but on average, what do you think they mean? I've asked a guy I met online by email this question and said he didn't have to answer if he didn't want to, and he didn't. He has that checked in his profile along with the other two so that's why I asked him.

Yes, I would say they expect sex on the first date AND that they are not looking for any type of a relationship beyond sex.
So unless you're just looking for a hook-up (and that's not the impression I get from your posts), I would just ignore any profiles that have that checked. If those are the only options, I would only go for the people who have "date" checked (assuming you are looking for a LTR).

I'd say they are just looking for sex, and anytime a girl will provide it, and they probably are not looking for a relationship either - sounds like casual sex with maybe some casual dating involved, but I'd bet just sex. What site is this? It has strange options.

Plain and simple...........they want sex! Doesn't matter if it it's the first date or during the "meet and greet" or after three months, they are interested in having sex.
I don't have issues with sex, but me personally, I would probably not respond to people who only have "sex" on their profile. Now if they clicked ALL options, then I say go for it, but of course realize, sex is part of the equation.
