Latest date: tonight at 7:30pm in San Marcos (40 miles to the south). I have the feeling this one will be a great date.
Second date: I'll let you all know...
Dates in the last 10 days: 5. I'm starting to wear down...
Second dates in the last 10 days: 0
Other things in the last 10 days: 3
Location: Austin, TX
Most interesting date: Too many to count. Most of you have heard them and I don't want to sound like a broken record. But it has to be said: My all you can eat buffet date at Golden Corral. A close second would be the bi-sexual girl that wanted me to have a threesome in a parking lot with her and her husband after meeting at Starbucks. And then the cop 2 months ago. Better stop before I get started.... :-)
Best horror story I've heard on this board: Jodie wins hands down. The story she just mentioned or the go-kart guy. But many others on here are a close second....
Name: Melissa (gracie_girl04), single :(, and almost 30
City: Dallas for one year, and it's so HARD to meet people!
Recent Date: Last Friday
How Did It Turn out: Average, as usual...we cooked dinner and watched movies
Was there a 2nd Date: No more dates. We have been dating off and on for 10 months...now, I'm trying to move on solo... Tried to end things on Saturday, but it's hard!
Most Memorable OLD Moment: I fell asleep on my first date with the guy mentioned above. We went to a theater to see "The Graduate", and I guess I was tired! I basically slept through the entire show. I did stay up the previous night talking to him on the phone, so I tried to blame it on him :). I haven't had many OLD dates. Those that I have had, they've either been too interested in threesomes or too self-absorbed...trying to impress. UGH!!! Where are the NORMAL guys?!
Thanks for accepting me in your chatting group, I think all you are awesome fun women.

How Did It Turn out: For a first date, nice, he is a proactive action guy, he emailed me suggesting several places to meet and ask me to choose. Total gentleman, opened the door, pulled my chair, helped me with my jacket, walked on the side of the street.
Was there a 2nd Date: Will have a second this coming Friday
Most Memorable OLD Moment: Went out with a guy on first date and the next day he called me asking me to marry him because he had just bought a mansion and a BMW and wanted me to be part of his life so bad to share that with me, ugh! I told him to go find someone else.
How Did It Turn out: My last date with this guy I dated a handful of times. He had poor time management. Said he’d call at noon, called at 7PM the night of our date (didn’t know if I was being stood up), showed up over an hour late, left my place at 9:30 –didn’t make a reservation, ended up eating at the bar of the restaurant well after 10 PM – I asked him numerous times to call when he says he is (and be on time) and decided that was it...sent him a Dear John letter Monday– this is why we date. So, NEXT --- ha! I should have not answered Saturday but it was Saturday night and wanted to go out – oh well, live it – LEARN it Ms. Peanut!
Was there a 2nd Date: Yes but there will be no sixth date, wink!
Most Memorable OLD Moment: Flying off to Paris for a weekend, oh wait, that is my fantasy, ha! ;-) -----Hmmmm, meeting a guy with a glass eye has to take the cake which he failed to mention before I met him – this was years ago!
Recent Date: None. My last date was with my ex about 2 months ago
How Did It Turn out: not so good
Was there a 2nd Date: we dated for 2 months and it was a blast. Best it ended on a high note I guess.
Most Memorable OLD Moment: Would have to be the first date/meet with the last ex. We met at an Irish pub downtown and he literally was the spitting image of a young Ozzy Osbourne. A Brit complete with some hilarious lunatic ravings. That date lasted 6 hours, just tooling around downtown popping into bars and clubs listening to music. We kissed good night and I jumped into a cab and sailed off into the night.
edited to add: Had a meet and greet tonight with a guy who'd responded to my Craigslist personals ad. Very nice, intelligent, cultured, articulate and well put together on the surface (though a bit effeminite), but the ol' craigslist skeez factor seems to tarnish a lot of guys here. He referred to making love several times throught the course of our 90 minute date, not with me...LOL, but in describing places he'd been and it was always with a girlfriend, or a place he would like to go, again with a girlfriend...the perfect end to the perfect day was or would be "making love in front of the fireplace". I swear to god he said this 5 or 6 times. There will be no date #2;P
I know your heart was trounced a bit by this guy, but surely the overflowing barrel of crickets and lizard in the bathtub are part of your bad OLD repertoire...??????
How Did It Turn out: Not very good--- I towered over him and I am 5'4"
Was there a 2nd Date: No!
Most Memorable OLD Moment: Getting hit on by my ex-husband on an OLD site--- he actually sounded quite exciting there for awhile!
Also, the guy who talked about "biking" 400 miles... silly me... I thought he was talking about bicycling... turned out that would have been impossible... he was as wide as he was tall....
