Should I be concerned with my boyfriend's online profile?

I met my current guy online. We have been dating for a few months and we are crazy about eachother, and I know he is about me. We have become pretty serious and he wants us to move in together in the Spring. We are both in our late 30s. When we met he also had a profile up on OKCupid (we met on Match) and shortly after we started dating he told me about that profile and encouraged me to set up one for the fun personality tests they had. He did change his status to "seeing someone" and said he met a fantastic girl (me) but is open to friendships. I noticed he logs in once in a while, and it just makes me uncomfortable, but I don't want to bring it up and sound jealous. But the kind of people that are on there, they don't care if you are seeing someone. It makes me stressed out thinking he might be chatting with other women, I mean, who goes online looking just for friends?

Wow! I'm surprised I'm reading everyone saying not to worrk about it. That would bother me as well, but then again I dated someone a few years ago that used OKCupid, Plent of fish, etc. and truly was communicating with and meeting with them.

Does he use the same user name on OKCupid as he did on Match? Have you tried googling his user name? I did with my exboyfriend and he was ALL OVER the internet on different dating sites.

If I were you I'd be having a talk with him for sure. If that's truly all he's using the site for then he won't have a problem with closing it!

I agree with the others. The okcupid quizzes are actually fun to do. Sure there are many people looking for more than friends there but I've noticed that it's a more friendly site than match.com. People really look for friends there.

I wouldn't worry about it, I have one too. If he starts acting distant or suddenly can't see you, then you have reason to worry. But like the post said, if he's not trustworthy, he's going to meet women one way or the other, OkCupid is definitely not the best site.

The only thing you can do is talk to him about it.
