should I believe him?

When I showed a pic to a guy I've starting chatting with of me wearing a turtleneck sweater, he said "you look hot!". Then I said "yeah right, with my turtleneck sweater on, I imagine". He then said, "it is all good". Do you think he actually meant I looked good? I can't imagine him thinking I looked "hot" dressed like that. Am I just overreacting again? I am bad for doing that. I showed it to another guy and he thought I was covered up too much. Should be wearing less, for him, I guess.

Whyever not? I happen to know that I look best in black turtlenecks - they just suit me and T shirts and low cut things just aren't me. "Hot" doesn't necessarily mean exuding sex, it can be attractive IMHO.

A man's got to do what a man's got to do.
A woman must do what he can't.
