Sites OTHER than Match/Yahoo/Eharmony?

From what I've seen, Match, Yahoo and eHarmony seem to be the most-used and most well known dating sites, but I'd love to hear about others that people have liked. I took a look at True and didn't like it. I also keep seeing the same guys on ALL the sites - so I'd love to find a new one that might have a different angle.
Any other ones that are worth it?

I've had some success with LoveAccess, and one date from EquestrianSingles.
Oddly enough, I keep getting winks/emails from short men on the TallSingles site.
I met a couple decent guys from mydate.com. And two of the guys who are currently in my rotation ;-) are from Craig's List but that's a whole different ballgame and requires extreme caution and a VERY thick skin.

I recently met a decent guy from Craig's list as well - but he's the only one I've ever responded to there. I think that site requires a LOT of weeding and being picky.
I'll check out mydate
AJ, enjoying life with C.
PlentyofFish.com -- LOTs of weeding through, but FREE! Chatting with 4 guys and just eliminated one. We met yesterday and he wasn't my type - no pic - should have known better! (smile)
ItsJustCoffee.com -- another FREE site, but haven't posted or searched yet!!
I've had subscriptions at one time or another to all 3 of these sites (match: o.k for a while but the longer you're there the worse it seems to get, yahoo: a lot of initial contact with very little follow-thru, eharmony: total waste of time and money). The last guy I dated, I met on Craigs List. Of all the guys I've met and/or dated through OLD, the CL guy was, by far, the most quality person, but for me the chemistry just wasn't there so I had to let it go.
As Sheri said though, CL requires a very thick skin and a very intense weeding out process because there are so many crackpots and openly bitter men there.

I couldn't agree more! I tried all three of those and that was my experience with each.
Craigslist in my area seems to attract every sex-crazed crackpot within a 50-mile radius. And I'm talking about the dating section not Casual Encounters (which is even more scary).
If I do go back online, I'd try one of the free ones like itsjustcoffee. Though I'm afraid the saying "you get what you pay for" might apply :)

hehehe...it's the same here too (I'm in S.F-home of Craigs List). Out of something like 37 responses to that ad I placed, the weeding process got down to 2 meets. Many, many freaks to delete;-P
