Hello Sparkle, just to add to the other posts. Please start dating multiple guys at once, it is true you won't miss it if one falls under the cracks or not, because you have few more lined up. I "just" did not get it before and I would get my hopes high with just one guy and it never worked! Now I am dating several guys, and it feels real good having so many men wanting my attention ;), I have two I am seeing for third dates, and three or four I still haven't met, but we're talking on the phone, emailing and the first meetings will be soon. So when one doesn't phone or write, the others do and so on, but try to keep a good tab of who is who, so you don't confuse them. Sign up for other internet services, just post your profile you don't have to pay on some of them. That's what I am doing, I hope this helps :0)
since u are feeling uncomfy i have a feeling this isn't the right guy for you. This early on, you should feel very secure. whether its you or the guy - combo isn't working. i ll bet if you two end up going out, it'll be the same thing after thurs' date...
but usually i confirm a good date when it feels right.
I went on a date (non online one:))fri night. i had a great time. I know he did too. well, i left a note to him that said "thanks for such a great time. i cant wait to see you again". circumstances are strange cuz hes my friend's brother, and i'll see him in two weeks cuz hes visitng me w/ her. (they live in LA right now) Little did I know he wouldnt get the note till he'd return from work the next day. But he called me w/o seeing the note to say hello and see where I was.
Anyways, even if i did not hear from him after the date - i would've left the note. I just had a really terrific time and I wanted to tell him that. Now i dont do that w/ every guy - but with him, i left it was appropriate. Now, had I not stayed at their house (they both live at home right now) , i would've emailed it to him.
then there are plenty of dates, i just let the guy contact me and dont say anything about "thanks for the date" etc...
I think you did good by going w/ what you felt. Just leave it be. Im sure the responses have been mixed on this one!
I've been waiting to hear your update. I don't know if I would totally give up. Then again, I tend to hang on well past when I should. If he was totally uninterested, why would he even mention getting together again at all. I guess I would still be disappointed about him cancelling out. I'll be interested to read what everyone else thinks. hang in there.

We've all done it at one time or another.
