This is so pathetic, it's funny

Maybe it's me, but has anythng like this ever happened to anyone else? If it only happened once, I wouldn't think twice about it, but it's happened three times in the past few weeks.....is there a pattern here?
After a coffee date, I've sent a nice, innocuous email to my date thanking them for the coffee and conversation and expressing an interest in getting to know them better, if the feeling was mutual. Immediately thereafter, they hid their profile and if they were on the same internet browser, I no longer see them on my buddy list (although I am sure that we are online at the same time). I suspect I've been blocked.
Uh, I am getting the feeling like I must be some derranged, unhinged cyber-stalker who won't get the hint if they don't respond and won't take "no" for an answer. At least that's what they're treating me like. I may be a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them. If they don't respond, I assume they're not interested and move on. Is it really necessary to go to such lengths to make sure I don't contact them? The only times I ever actually block someone is if they are becoming a pest or they creep me out in some way.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? I don't think I act anything but normal on a date.
Thoughts?

Lisa, thanks for making me smile. By the way, I get tons of emails from guys with Harleys. You should cart your buttocks up here for good pickins! :)

Ann - I'm so sorry you had this happen three times in a short period of time. Don't let it get you down (I know, easier said than done).
Libra may be on to something. Several of my dates have told me they block a lot of women because they get "crazy" (their word) emails from women who take it quite personally when the guy doesn't call for a second date. I would never do that, though when I was younger, it was a different story. I cringe when I think of my younger dating self.
So I think they may be punishing you for the actions of others, as someone (Sheri, I think) said. So unfair, but that's OLD, or actually that's dating.
