I'm laughing because otherwise I'd be tearing out my hair in frustration! I just started corresponding with a guy on Yahoo personals...I ask him a few questions, he responds but doesn't ask me anything. So I write back to him, ask a couple more questions, and say feel free to ask me any questions that aren't answered by my profile.

So, he writes back, "what do you like to do in your spare time"?

ARGH!!! My profile is FULL of what I like to do in my spare time!

I'm debating how to answer or even whether to answer...right now I'm leaning towards something along the lines of, well, as it SAYS IN MY PROFILE, which you would know if you'd bothered to read it, I like to...

Maybe I should just hit delete...

I think he does have some valid points and makes us look at issues from different sides. Remember...opinions are like a$$h*les...we all have them... and we don't have to agree with them...

I just find it peculiar that he offered her a negative opinion when she didn't ask for it. And, most of the time, many of us have already considered that negative view.

Or, put another way, there's no shame in saying, "darn straight it's *ME*...because I'm not willing to put up with losers and emotional basket cases!"

Having boundaries and being willing to enforce them, even if it means you date fewer people and/or are single longer, is by no means a BAD thing!
