You mean this guy just wrote you out of the blue from Match with this proposal to set you up with his friend? That does strike me as odd.
But, if you think the friend is cute, what the heck, you could get the guy's email and write him, I suppose. Just be safe and cautious and if anything seems weird about it, let it go.

My best friend met her hubby through me. I saw him on Match & even though he wasn't my type, I saw that he was hers, so using my membership, I got them in contact with each other & the rest is history.
It can work!
I'm sorry, but that post was well-written and what do you have to lose. I would definitely check it out.
I too met a guy the same way. We actually ended up hooking up but after a period of time realized we were not on the same page. Regardless, he was a hotie, Fireman, one child, lived on his own, but he was not seeking marriage, EVER! Darn! Believe it or not, he still calls me, but I've told him I want more.
On the flip side, I even hooked one of my gf up with a guy online. I wrote him and told him about my gf and they ended up hooking up! No they are still not together cause they were not on the same page.
