The "thank you" email

Hello,
When you have an OLD date and you like the guy, do you send a "thank you" email the next day, or just wait to hear from him again? I tend to be traditional in the sense of wanting the guy to contact me, but I'm just wondering what others do. Thanks!

If you thanked him at the end of the date and told him you had a nice time, sending an email to reinforce it is redundant and looks pushy (IMO). If you told him, he knows and can get in touch with you again if he wants to.

If you think the guy got mixed signals then send him an email expressing you had a good time and hope to go out again soon.

Usually but not always if a man is interested he'll follow up but once in a while (which I've had) the guy thought I wasn't interested or they weren't sure of my interest level -- first dates can be nerve racking in the sense that you have more "guards" up because lets face it this is someone you're meeting off the world wide web so just be smart! :-) either way you can miss out right?

I agree that if you already showed you had a nice time, I would let him contact you. If I've learned nothing else, I've learned that if a guy is really interested, he'll contact you.
