Is there any point?

Hi! I'm just wondering something, about talking to guys who are out of town. I've been talking to 2 guys pretty steadily for the last week or so but they are both outside my area. One, is 3 hours away and the other is 5 hours away. I'm really not sure about one of them cuz he just seems too preoccupied with the whole sexual aspect of a relationship. The other one jokes around alot but I like that so any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

I would say that no, there is no point. Long distance relationships are very challenging and are definitely not for everyone. Remember, you can't really know anyone until you've met them in person. Any *feelings* you may develop online are all based on fantasy - yours and his. If you don't believe me, read the various posts on this subject for the past year.
I have a few e-mail pals from other countries, although I did not meet them on a dating site, so they are truly friendships only. It makes no difference to me if I never have a chance to meet them.
I don't think much of the one who is preoccupied with sex. Sounds juvenile to me.
Much better for you to concentrate on men in your area, who you will be able to meet easily and frequently and get to know really well. Believe me, LDR's can break your heart!!
Strongly concur with Amjay..there is no point in LDRs..and there is no "relationship" with someone you've never met F2F..(already been through that nonsense myself-got way too caught up in it!)
I would say bye-bye to Mr. Hormone...he's a knucklehead
Get clear on what you are looking for in a relationship-keep it close to home...
good luck to you
