Hello all,
I need your help/advice... I've been dating this 40 year old guy that lives in Atlanta for about two months. I live in Chicago. About three weeks ago, he flew me out to see him. I'm flying back out to see him in another two weeks. For V-day he sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. he does really sweet things like text msgs me all the time telling me how much he misses me etc.
I would like to let him know that I'm digging him alot, and I want to reciprocate the feelings.
I know that he's really not big on dessert, and he'll be home for the next month or so recovering from a back injury. He's always telling me that he misses my touch, feel, smell etc. so I was thinking of maybe putting together a care pckg for him but I don't have a clue what to put in it. Do any of you have any suggestions????
Thanks in advance.
E.

Hi JeJ,
Well, first, I know it may be silly, but there are cute little valentine pillows around here at 50% off and I might get one of those that says "kiss me" (mine looks like a conversation heart, I have seen cute lips, too!), and throw that in as a little 'reminder' of you. Then, maybe something to read; magazines, a paperback on subjects he enjoys. A letter you have HAND written to him that says what you like about him; how he treats you well, etc--he can take this out and read it often. A small candle, maybe one that is meant for soothing or even energy? Something to eat, but not tooo fattening--does he like granola bars? Just a small treat. Don't go overboard and spend a lot though, does he like to write? A small notebook and cool gel pen in black...little things DO count.
What a Nice lady you Are! Good luck in this going Far for ya'll!
Truly,
Cupcake
Cupcake,
Thanks for the wonderful ideas, where can I find those pillows?
E.
Hi Jej,
I got mine at Walgreen Drug Store, have seen them (larger ones, but cool) at Kohl's Department store, and even target stores had them. Look at the drug stores in your area...also CVS Drug Store had the lips. Don't know where u live, these are all in Texas.
Let me know if I can help you! I think this is Such a cool idea!
Truly,
Cucpake
How about Playboy, Maxim, Victoria Secret Swimsuit catalog...or if you really can't take him looking at those perhaps Men's Health. Of course, you have to have a lot of self confidence to let the guy you are dating look at these without asking any questions, but I think he would appreciate it. Sorry, I just don't go for the cutesy teddy bears and stuff like that.
Good Luck. I'm sure he will appreciate the thoughtfulness.
