Well, whoopie! Maybe I will go over to Lavalife. com where gabi met her nice guy and see what I can get! Naaaaa. A girlfriend asked me lastnight, "Do you think you will ever date on line again?"

I said no, but I am not against it, just I am not ready to get serious and most people who actually pay for sites to post ads, are. I know there are few who arent and you could get, well...ya know. I dont need that either, well I do, but not he complications and diseases. lol I am just going on and on arent I! lol

WEll, happy virutal love day to all of you!!! IM breaking from it for a while, if you dont mind. Hey, maybe if I break like Deena, I will find someone I already knew in person. Never can tell!

Hi Gail,

Well while I am very serious about finding my "soul mate" - I haven't paid a single penny to any of the online sites I've used to meet guys so far. Most of them allow you to IM or reply to emails/smiles/kisses (whatever) for free, just have to pay to send them. At least this way I know the guys are relatively serious. ;o)

I think most women can get away with not paying for dating site services because we tend to get a lot of emails without the need to initiate contact (assuming the site allows you to reply to messages for free). Men, on the other hand, usually have to make the first move though - so if they're serious about meeting someone they probably have to pay for the service. (Someone has to pay for it LOL).

Once I bought a 1 month subscription. Of all the men I emailed through the site who were not paying members - NOT A SINGLE ONE made an effort to meet me in person (lots of sweet talk and promises but nothing more). So yes, I do think that if a man is shelling out bucks to email a woman - he's *most likely* pretty serious about wanting to meet someone in order to build a relationship.
