It was one of those long rambling philosophical profiles about how he likes sunsets and wants to live life to the fullest.
Don't hold to anger, hurt or pain. They steal your energy and keep you from love.

I think that's intended to be a joke.
Anyway, it was certainly a joke when Wil Shriner, who's a comedian, used it in his act.
Sure, it was meant to be humorous, but I think I'd just leave things about death out of my profile.
I am constantly amazed at what men write in their profiles as well as their initial emails. I'm sure women do the same thing.
My all time favorite was the guy who said his mother in law was helping him write his profile, because he was a sad widower who had lost his beloved wife on 9/11.
OK, granted that is sad, and as I live outside NYC, entirely possible.
HOWEVER, it has been eight years. At what point do you stop milking it? And is describing how your wife died in your profile really supposed to be a turn on?
While I do think he was trying to be funny and should get maybe half a point for the attempt....all things DEATH should be kept to ones self until after a bond of some sort has been forged. There are plenty of other funnies he could have offered up.
