Somebody stop me...I *know* not to get excited about a guy before meeting, I KNOW this...but there's a guy who's emailing me now who seems right up my alley and I find myself getting WAY too excited about getting his emails (we just started corresponding yesterday and there have only been 3). We're supposed to talk on the phone tonight and I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Ugh. I'm glad to have a "good" prospect, but from experience I'm thinking it's just a matter of time before he either rejects me or I realize there's some dealbreaker involved.

great nww! after tommorrow's date you will have less worries about him liking you.. if he cancels again (which why the heck would he w/ a great gal like you) but if he did you'd see that he was repeating a pattern which is your sign.. other than that you can only give it time and have faith.. time tells all and yes it's either our gut telling us something or our past experiences giving us insecurities. just go w the flow have fun and time will tell

Well, the 2nd date did happen tonight and we had a really nice time. We didn't make a firm plan for the 3rd date this weekend but I'm reasonably sure it'll happen.

In the meantime, I have two fun nights out with friends planned for tomorrow and Thursday: I'm going to see Wicked tomorrow night, and Manhattan Transfer on Thursday--both should be a blast!

I would also be planning dates with other guys but the two other "live" prospects I thought I had in the pipeline seem to have disappeared on me. I"m not sure I have the energy to screen a whole new "crop" at this point...we'll see.

Sounds great 'YEAH'....

Well the nice thing is you have a busy social calendar so don't knock yourself out setting up other dates, if they happen great and if not no big deal!!

Cheers,
