Ms. Peanut, I cut and pasted your message and emailed it to him. As such my girlfriend and I will have a blast at the concert.

UPDATE........

This morning I received this email from him:

"What are you talking about. I have called you several times. I was very interested in you, as far as the concert I did want to go with you. I did want to see you. You have to understand you are the one that had me waiting till you got ready to see me, but I have called you with no reply. I really don't care about the concert, but I do want to see you again."

****************

I can't lie, was actually flattered by the email. Now what?? Yes, I did suggest us getting together on Saturday after the birthday party, but obviously he felt like I was making him wait. I know I'm not planning or suggesting future dates.

Ladies, your thoughts??

Ah, ok. You didn't mention that he'd returned your call in your original post, so I was thinking he ignored your call until you emailed him.

Sparks are good ;-), and I know what you mean about not feeling them in a while! I felt them for the first time in a while with Amazon Guy...but interestingly enough, they faded somewhat on our 4th date, and I was fully prepared to be ok with it if he didn't call for a 5th. He did, and we're going out tomorrow night, but it will be interesting to see if the sparks are there, or not...

I hope he calls, and that you see each other again soon...keep us posted!

I would definitely let him take the lead from here on out then. It sounds like you really like this guy so I'd give it a chance then and chalk this up to a misfire (not uncommon this early in the game). Lesson learned. Just be more specific in the future and keep an eye out for his "follow through" or lack thereof.
Enjoy!

Glad the email worked for you. See this is why I always ask or do one last thing "just in case I'm wrong" sometimes things do happen in life. This is also why it's always good to end it in a positive classy way. Imagine if you told him off, there would be no future dates. It's easy when you date a lot to assume the worst so always take the high road. I like to think that people can surprise us rather than disapoint when you least expect it.

Give him the benefit of the doubt; keep notes of this but hey, he WANTS to see you again, that is EXCELLENT and I love that feeling - TRUST ME, it's incredible so enjoy it.

Didn't read the other posts yet but glad this one turned out much different then we all expected.

Ms. Peanut
