Hi all !
The other day I came across a very interesting website which is geared toward men. After exploring this site more thoroughly, I came across numerous articles regarding dating strategies for men etc.
Some of the articles left me somewhat angered! Apparently (based upon so many of the articles) men are encouraged to "play head games" with women in order to make themselves more highly desirable etc. In addition, there is also a book thats been written entitled, The System.
After reading a good number of these articles on this specific website, I am more enlightened as to why the male gender behaves in the manner that they do in respect to dating situations. BTW, This site also boasts to have a very high reader census.
Makes you wonder how many men actually follow alot of the dating suggestions on this/from this site...?...>> If so, it certainly would explain why so many men play games in respect to dating.
If your interested in reading some very enlightening articles written by men for men regarding dating tips and various do's and dont's etc.,
the site is, www.askmen.com/dating/index.html

I've seen this website before, but never really looked into it.
I just browsed some of the titles and it seems to address some of the same issues that we have with men..."Why aren't You As Important to her?", "Who Should Pay?"
However there were two titles that really jumped out at me, "Practical Ways to Control Your Girl" and oh, "6 Ways to Tell Her SHe's Fat". Thought those two were just a little bit degrading.(I'm being sarcastic!)
Great, just one more fly in the ointment!
I like to read the message boards there for entertainment, but I would NEVER follow any advice given by the men who post there! I'm sure there are exceptions but *as a rule*, the men who post there are either very young/naive, or jaded and bitter against women.
Male friends who've looked at the site agree with that assessment, btw.

I've been to askmen.com a few times, and yes, some of the acticles have a pretty sexist slant to them. There are some guys that want to read stuff about how they can become a "woman magnet" and how they can control every aspect of their relationship. I don't think that's really most guys, though.
The articles on there almost seem to be very gimmicky, you know what I mean? For example, it's like searching for good articles about how to come across as more attractive to women, and finding articles about "techniques to control a woman's subconcious mind and make them fall all over you". I guess I wouldn't even take them very seriously.
