If we're all still speaking...ROFL

Hope everyone's weekend brings them fun and sun.

As for me, starting out with pub night with the Aged Parent (his treat this time! yeehaw). Then puttering around apartment cleaning, studying, watching dvds and basically relaxing.

How about everyone else?

My son is going to a sleep-over tonight and I may just hang at home and watch movies. Saturday, early hair appointment and then a book club meeting, pick my son up and then later that evening, heading to a birthday party. Sunday, usually I cook for the week, do laundry and will visit a friend who recently moved into her new townhome.

Oh yeah, did have a meet and greet scheduled for Saturday, but canceled it after he shared his story of his 11 year sex-only romance that produced 4 kids! Yuck!!!!

I'll be packing for my Colorado trip next week, so I have some errands to run and then do some laundry.

I'm farm sitting for a friend, so it's run home, fix dinner for the momster, go do barn chores, and chill. Teaching/training tomorrow, followed by retail therapy and housework. Followed by more barn chores. Horses poop a lot. LOL

Sunday, more teaching and training, possible trail ride, and going through my clothes and deciding what to take on vacation.

You crack me up...lol.

I'm doing home improvements - putting a tub surround in, hanging up new blinds, cleaning, and trying to decide what to do about C. Should I call or not? Haven't heard a peep since Sunday night. So much to think about regarding him.

I'll hit the gym too in hopes of losing 50 lbs. before my friend's wedding September 17th.....lol.

I wanna buy you a cocktail!

LMAO Amjay!

I have a new Barbara Kingsolver novel to start, "Prodigal Summer", daughter says it's great.

I will also be taking pics of the back yard and filling out an application for a back yard make-over sponsored by a local TV station. I have a hole in the yard where an above the ground pool used to be...it's unsightly and I need big $$ to fill it in. So we decided we would enter the contest. If we make it to the finals I'm going to ask everyone to go online and vote for us. LOL Wish us luck!!

Those are the plans...of course if some wonderful hot dashing white knight comes riding thru (preferrably on a Harley) then I'll be off on a new adventure. hehe.. Why not? New guy of two weeks and 3 dates seems to be withdrawing.

Can't keep this old gal down for long.

Hey there,

Well, I've got a quiet weekend planned...with the highlight being watching Season 4 of Six Feet Under on DVD...I just called the video store and reserved Disk 1. Now that's an exciting Friday night ;-).

I actually want a quiet weekend though because next weekend is going to be go, go, go...it's Bumbershoot weekend so that means 3 straight days of music and dancing...can't wait. Plus one of my cousins and his 13 year old son will be in town from Michigan so I'll be hanging out with them as well.

Oh, and I want to go see a new Chinese film that was just released today called "2046". It's kind of a sequel to "In the Mood for Love", which I loved. I'm a big Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung fan...I finally rented "Hero" which was just wonderful. Maybe I'll do that Sunday night...
