What are women really looking for?

I would love a female perspective here. What do you all (I could've said "yall" but I refrained) look for in a man?

I know this is a very general question, but I want you to be specific.

Imagine that through the marvel of modern technology there was such a thing as a "Man Store". You could go in and custom order your perfect guy. A week later, your new man would be ready for pickup (or delivery if you so choose). He of course would be madly in love with you. :-) What physical characteristics would you choose? Would you want him to look just like Adrian Paul? (lol, just kidding). Be shallow if you want. If you want him to have 6-pack abs, say so. What about personality? When you were ordering your man, any detail that you left out would be automatically chosen. So, if you did not specify a hair color it could be whatever.

Look forward to reading your responses.

Not an attack but why did you stay with your ex for so long? Were you married? Did you have kids with him? Six and a half years is a long time to be on a roller coaster.

i'm looking for a man that respects me. once i have his respect all else will follow. but i'm also looking for someone taller than me, someone i can hold a conversation with(intelligent)and most important next to respect- someone who accepts my child.

Ok ... ready to give my criteria for what I am looking for:
-really looking for more of a mental over physical connection...
-only physical traits I can say I absolutely prefer is no or minimal facial hair and is concerned about personal appearance... keeps self well-groomed, concerned about clothing but not overly so...
- sense of humor - mature but playful, can get silly, sarcastic, irreverent...
-intelligence - prefer graduate level education
-divorced with kids since they can relate to my own situation and priorities
-flexible, easy going, takes life as it comes...
-quite frankly hate motorcycles... worked too many years in a large city trauma center to ever want to get on one... this guy I dated for a very short time really wanted to share his boy toy with me... wasnt interested in being part of it which was our dealbreaker...
- oh yes, not to offend anyone... would prefer no depression, schizophrenia, diabetes, arthritis, cancer, and so on and so forth...

damn ... schizo's never can catch a break...

Maybe they need a new web site like schizophrenicsmingle.com. I bet Match would be upset because then they'd lose half their members.
