Lets say that you have already gone through all the preliminaries of meeting someone through OLD.

I find that it's the same. The only difference between an OLD date and a RL date is how you meet. Some might argue that the difference with OLD is that it's easier to keep looking for the BBD. I disagree. I had plenty of RL dates where the guy was back trolling bars/nightclubs etc. within a few days.

No, I don't see any difference in a date with someone from OLD vs someone from RL. People are people no matter where, or how you meet them. The same games are played by people you meet IRL just as much as if you met them thru OLD. We all have the same feelings and emotions, we laugh when something is funny and cry when we are sad. Contrary to what some people who don't OLD believe, OLD dates were not beamed down from some foreign planet. They/we are your neighbors, standing next to you in the grocery store, sitting next to you on a bus, plane or subway, we just choose to meet people using OLD.

>>Do any of you find that there is much of a difference between a first date with someone you meet through OLD verses IRL?<<

I think they are the same. The first meet with an OLD person is different since you haven't seen eachother yet, but once you are past the first meet, the dating process is the same I feel. People are people and will do and act the same way no matter what venue you have utilized to meet them with.
