I met a guy on an online dating website. We talked twice, once for about 40 minutes and the second time for about 2-2.5 hours.

We are meeting next Sunday for coffee. He just called me and left me a voicemail confirming the meeting for next sunday. He also added at the end "No more phone conversations now. Either skype me or facetime me."

I'm baffled. Why would he not want to talk on phone anymore? Are there any red signals here?

I think he is anxious to meet face to face and better communicates where he can someone.

interesting, have you skyped or facetimed with him? I would be cautious, but not write him off yet.

I would not call that a red flag...maybe he is just hoping to see what you look like before then. You don't have to have any contact with him before the meet, either via phone or internet.
