What if he wants a killer bod

I'm not obese nor have I lied about being razor thin (I'm average weight). I met a guy online and sent him a picture I took back a few months ago. He knows the picture is several months old. We lost touch and now several months later he has started calling again, he thinks we should meet. He knows that I dance. He thinks I have this hot body but I told him that my body needs work, that I dont' have a tight drum stomach and my bottom stomach is soft. He said he likes a woman who takes care of himself, since he goes to the gym and works out. I told him that I do try and take care of myself but I don't want him to think that I have this hot little body. He kept saying he would be turned off if a woman has a belly (I have a soft little one), etc. He keeps insisting on meeting me. I'm starting to think I should just cancel since I do have a little body and have told him that I dont' have a tight drum belly. What's the use of meeting him when he will probably find fault with the fact that I don't have a killer bod?

I would appreciate any suggestions and/or comments.

this guy obviously cannot think for himself and was raised on interaction with too many magazines sexually lol...

my dear you are a size 6 and a very active young lady. A LOT of men would find you sensual actually. I am a size 24 and can't believe that you are subjected to such scrutiny. Please please please take this out of your mind. You yourself are showing too much insecurity to think that 'he' isn't the one with the problem. Let him date gym rats who spend time getting the perfect abs while you enjoy your active time finding your sensuality in bellydancing and learning about cultures of the world.

I aspire to be you but a size 12 =). Love your lil soft belly. I am glad you are a size 6 and yet not sickly or so too self centered. MANY MANY men with a brain and their OWN sense of sensuality (which is much hotter than some dork who looks to bounce a quarter off of some girl's belly instead of holding and protecting your lucious size 6 softness) are out there to offer you companionship, reliability and depth...who would find you facinating and sexy and loving.

get your senses back...do not let this dork's rejection reflect on how you feel...consider the source!!!

I just wanted to say that I love all of your responses...I fight this demon myself. I'm 5'8" and 130 lbs, a size 8, but I do have a rather flabby belly with rolls. I've had them since I was a kid; it's just my body style. For a while, I was hardcore with eating right and working out, and I may have lost a few pounds, but my flab never went away, so I decided that I was tired of wasting my life eating salads in amazing Italian restaurants, and tired of spending 2 out of my 4 hours of free time a night at the gym.

So I stopped, and I'm now enjoying life, eating and doing the things I love to do.I'm not going to be one of those people that wishes on her deathbed that she was a size 4. While OLDing, I purposely ignored any profile that said that the guy worked out more than 3x a week, and said that he was athletic and loved to play every sport known to man. Guys like that will never be happy with me and who I am.

To the original poster, he's already telling you that he thinks you probably won't be "good enough" for him, but just has to see for himself...so how about YOU telling HIM that he's not good enough for you, and you don't have to see it to believe it?

i dare say my dear that you must have 'rolls' only if you are scrunched up in a ball and it is your skin and not fat (the skin that is not extended in its normal flatness when standing straight).

Even if you do have 'rolls' standing up straight...i bet its still just tone from having not been 130lbs at some point or very thin elsewhere. =)

at 130 and 5'8"....you are actually considered 'underweight' by most medical standards ( 100 lbs for the first 5 ft and 5lbs for every inch over)

i just wanted to say that since you put stats out there and that others with your same stats might be worried they are overweight...you...and they are not..indeed =)

***be healthy***...i am runnin' behind you to catch up (same height and twice your weight..i have a lot of catching up to do). My goal weight is 150...i looked really well at 167 with residual skin from the first time I lost my weight.

LOL...no, I really do have rolls, and it's definately fat, not skin...it's just the way my genes work, b/c my mom is like that, too...we gather all of our excess fat in our bellies and thighs...and 130 is the most I've ever weighed...I wish I could post a pic of my belly for you to see to believe it...
