What kind of First Dates to you like?

So you've emailed and talked on the phone and everything seems right. You First-Meet for the ritual coffee and it's all nice. He says he'll call you and he does. He asks you out for a date.

Where/What would a good First-Date be for you?

Ideally, through our conversations he has figured out what some of my favorite restaurants are. He suggests dinner at one of them.

A local dive bar to play pool. But I'm not the norm.

Honestly it doesn’t matter as long as the company is good. Find out what your date likes and plan accordingly. M and I had sushi on our first date (skipped the coffee) and did a Lakers Game on our second.

I'd really love to go hiking for a first date. For some strange reason though most girls don't want to go 12 miles out in the middle of nowhere with a guy they don't know. Go figure.

Over the summer I setup a really neat one to go on a steam train ride. I think that would have been fun. I'm sick of coffee. Even sicker of dinner because it seems everyone wants to come to my town to eat and I go to my favorite place and they look at me like I'm a man whore.

Excellent, Sheri. How open you are if say, he knows the type of restaurant and cuisine you like, but purposely suggests a place you HAVEN'T been too. More points or less?

Just make sure they don’t have any “hate type foods”...maybe you take her to Indian food and she has an allergy to curry or something, LOL!

Extra points if he racks and lets you break?
