What to Put in the "About Me" Section

I'd just like to ask some general questions about how specific or un-, people here like to be in their profiles. I have a hard time with this as I don't know which aspects to focus on. Should I just be myself?I might drive everyone off! Or should I just talk about things I like? Should I be specific about what I want in someone else, or should I cast a wider net, so to speak.
I'm not ready to date yet so maybe that's part of the problem. I'm just wondering what other people's experience has been in terms of meeting more people with a more vague add or being more specific and meeting fewer, but possibly better quality matches. I know I could write an add that would probably attract a lot of people, but I don't know if it would be quite "honest" enough, if you know what I mean. I hate putting my best foot forward but not being able to deliver. Although so far I've always gotten a second date.
I guess what I'm wondering is how much does anyone put themselves into their profiles and how much do they leave to the imagination? Thanks.

Hey there... I think leaving a bit to the imagination is always good, but you also want to let the guys/gals know who you are and what you're looking for.
