What would you do?

I met a really nice guy on yahoo, and he seems pretty good except that he's an airline captain (how do I attract them?). Anyway, he asked me if I wanted to have a drink tomorrow night and we made plans.
Problem -
Three weeks ago, I had a blood donation go very, very bad. You can use your imagination, but let's just say it's very ugly. Long sleeves are pretty much out of the question since it's close to 100 degrees here and the air in my car is out (yeah, I know, I'm falling apart). Anyone know of good makeup that covers bruises? Would you cancel the date? It's very noticeable and people at work have been making comments. It's certainly not the first impression I want to give.

So does it look like you have track marks?
I've thought about it. I did go to Wal-mart and buy a few different foundations, but nothing worked. Any other place I could find I'd have to hit tomorrow at lunch, since we made plans for 630 drinks!
I wouldn't care, but this guy definitely has potential, and I don't want to meet him looking like this! It's bad enough to look like an addict, but with this bruise, I look like an incompetent one. :-)
I don't want to cancel - especially since it's going to be another month or so before this goes away. I'm kind of on an OLD roll for once.
I'm sorry to hear about your temporary skin condition. I've been there!
You can try mineral makeup, like Bare Minerals (I've been using it for a few years now and love it). Try one of their concealers, then go over with a foundation shade that matches your skin tone. OR, you can try Dermablend. It goes on a bit heavier and sometimes finding the right shade requires some "blending"...but that would work too.
