What's with this guy?

Ok, I received a letter this morning from someone I don't know (Yahoo personals) and have never corresponded with. This is truly bizarre. What do you think?
Hi,

I think I'll hit the delete button.

You've heard of mail-order brides right? Maybe this is the mail-order husband portion of that advertising. LOL. Either he's real and just has a hard time with English or it's just one of those stock personal ad responses that men have become used to with the mail-order bride type of reply.

Wow, you're really nice. You gave him much more credit than I would have--I would think he doesn't know where the shed begins, let alone be in it! hehehe
Sheesh ya'll. I bet his first language is not English and this was his attempt at communicating. I get really sensitive on this issue after tutoring two Korean girls in junior high who could not speak English - they tried SO hard and were so frustrated when they couldn't communicate what they wanted to say and when people made fun of them because they didn't say things correctly.
I'm not saying give the guy a chance because 1) he probably is a "mail order husband" or 2) would be hard to communicate with if he is ESL but good grief people! It doesn't make him dumb because he can't speak English - how would you feel if you went to another country and couldn't communicate but were trying to get along?
I'd say the guy needs a lesson in grammar, sentence structure, and possibly "poetry". I think he was trying to sound "cute" but is missing the mark. LOL
Actually, it seems that many online profiles and e-mails (from any contacts) are often lacking in basic grammar and writing skills. While I am a secretary and am a stickler for trying to spell correctly, I'm still surprised that so many people don't know how to spell or leave words out of sentences to where you have no idea what their thought process was. And, quite honestly, I've seen some women's writing skills that were not much better than some men's.
Vexer, just so you know everything I said was completely tongue in cheek. If you knew me, you'd know that my jokes should never be taken seriously. I too have taught and tutored ESL and would beat anyone down who was rude to them. Just realize it meant nothing on my part, just silliness.
