They may want a 22-year-old, but it doesn't mean they're going to get one. When I was 22, I had ZERO interest in anyone 20 years older than me. I think some middle aged men could get a much younger woman if he is rich, good-looking and interesting. But, most of the men I see online are none of those things.
Floridagirl may have a good point--there are lots of reasons an older guy might go for younger women.
i am 51 yrs old and find that alot but I just eliminate them as being ridiculous and obviously they aren't the right men for me.

I think I get your point.
No, I would not date a man 20 to 25 years older than me, but then I'm 56. But even when I was in my 20s, I wouldn't have dated a man that much older. I really prefer someone who has had the same cultural experiences I have (movies, music, politics, etc.). Plus, I don't want to date my dad.
