I've tried online dating a couple of times.

It is a truism that men are more visual than women when it comes in looking for mates so as a woman it makes sense that you enjoyed his intelligence and how you FEEL.

No, I don't think I would give them as much of a chance if I met them IRL.

Mark,

I think that's a good kind of attitude to have--instead of being mad at the guys who only want way younger women, since we know right from the start that we aren't what they want, just skip over them and find someone who is looking for someone the right age.

To me it's the same thing as women who are wanting rich, powerful and/or athletic guys who are sensitive yet masculine.

My ex was 8 years older than me and even tho I am 45 I do tend to stick around the mid 50 range but depending on how they act, I don't think a man that age would be totally off limits.

No, I would not date a man 20 to 25 years older than me, but then I'm 56. But even when I was in my 20s, I wouldn't have dated a man that much older. I really prefer someone who has had the same cultural experiences I have (movies, music, politics, etc.). Plus, I don't want to date my dad.
