What's your worst OLD experience so far?

Be specific! Nothing like "he ghosted" accepted, since that's happened to all of us at least once ;)
Here's mine. I was out on a first date / second meet, and a chicklet came over and was dancing with / all over my "date". Turns out it was his ex-wife.

Hello.... I had a date for dinner... everytime he talked he ended up spitting into my meal... and he was a very talkative guy... by the end of the evening... when it was time for the goodnight kiss, I decided I had enough swapping spit... he got the cheek... and never to be seen again...
yoohoo
That's easy...I went on a date with a guy for coffee a while back. He seemed all right, but something was off. I googled him, and lo and behold, he'd been arrested for soliciting a minor for sex over the internet. It was definitely him, no doubt about it. I've never felt so sick in my life!!! Thank goodness I'm nosey.

Hi Y'all,
I had a nice date with the 2nd man I went out with on OLD. We had a good dinner, conversation, and then went dancing and were well-matched there, and enjoyed that. He had to drive about 45 minutes home, it was late, so I was nice and called to check to see if he was okay driving ;since he'd had 3 beers, as well.
Biiig mistake! He kept me on the phone, jealous about the men he said were watching me dance (they were?!), and said he did not want me to go back online, he Already knew I was what he was looking for in a wife, etc. Run, Forrest, Run!!!!!! He kept me on the phone until Five a.m.!!!
Oh well...have to say it has been better since Then!(mostly :)
Truly,
Cupcake
Robyn,
Mine was similar. But at least he TOLD me....I didn't have to google him. Would have been nice if he told me BEFORE I agreed to go out with him. Turns out the guy was a convicted felon and spent 3 years in the slammer. For what, you ask? For violating a Restraining Order that his ex-wife had on him. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
ABM
Hmmm.... toss up.
A. Attorney for major national corporation who threatened me with a lawsuit after a couple of months of dating. We'd talked about going on a trip and after I stopped seeing him, he implied that I'd engaged in a contract and he was going to sue me for not going. His company was also a client of my company, and he made contact with my boss to question my integrity... I'd been at that job for four months, so it was a blast to explain to my new boss what I was doing to jeopardize the relationship with a long-standing, enormous customer. Luckily, my boss understood, and even had a good sense of humor, asking if I'd be willing to take one for the team and marry the guy!
B. Man I'd been talking to on phone asked me to dinner; I couldn't go because I was working part-time at a bookstore on the night he asked me for. That night, he showed up at the bookstore -- he found me at the fourth bookstore he tried. Not only did he stalk me and track me down, he'd gained easily 100 pounds since the pictures he posted.
I'm thinking the spitting is preferable....! :-)

OMG!!!!
Mine is a guy I met without having seen his picture beforehand.
My worst had to be my last prior to that 6 month relationship I had (which ended in January of 2005). I had been writing this guy from another city (about 2 hours away) for about a month on an almost daily basis and we seemed to have a lot in common and decided to meet for coffee. Let me tell you, I was grateful it was only coffee and that I only had to stay for the hour that I did. First of all, other than dark hair he looked nothing (and I mean nothing) like his photo (he told me when we met that "by the way, my photo is 4 years old so I may look a little different" - more like way different). Second, he proceed to divulge such personal details about himself during that meeting from his bouts with depression (hey I have suffered too in the past but its nothing I share with a virtual stranger - that's private info) and his chronic self-esteem issues to how he was a virgin until recently (he was 29) and how he finally lost it with a 47 year old woman. He also then told me how he was looking more for a sex partner than a relationship (although he was in the relationship section of the online site) and how much he loved really big girls and that I wasn't his usual type - not big enough in other words but that he could handle it though. Boy, I couldn't wait to get out of there. If I hadn't started dating someone seriously after that (and I didn't meet that guy on-line - I was set up by a friend) I would have been pretty scared off the on-line dating thing for a while. At least due to my break from it I am not worried about that anymore now that I am back into it. Of all the guys I met he was the only "weirdo" for lack of a better word - I know its not a nice word but it was an awful experience.

i met a guy online... good job, a good connection between us... he lived nearby.
he stood me up on a saturday night... when i saw him next online, he told me to FO because "a woman can't expect a man to always be the initiator of a date"...
i nicely reminded him that HE was the one who asked ME out.
he's blocked as well.
