hello all,

i've been dating this 40 yo white; he lives in GA for about two months. he's flew me done to see him twice (each trip costing more than $350). now he wants me to pay for the next trip.

should i buckle and pay to go see him or should i just cut my losses?

I guess it depends on how much you are interested in him. Good luck with your decision.

I agree that it depends on how much you like him and if you see this being a long-term thing. It probably isn't fair for him to keep paying for you all the time amd I personally would feel more like a "kept woman" than an equal partner in a relationship.

But I also would probably not get into a relationship with someone that lives really far away unless there will be someone moving pretty soon and/or if I had the money to get myself back and forth. I don't want to feel that beholden to someone because that can come back to bite you.

Why is his race an issue?

And why WOULDN'T you pay for a visit? Not sharing the financial burden seems unfair to me.

But the real question is, why are you doing an LDR at all?
