"who's viewed you" on match

I just noticed this feature is gone from match. Maybe it's just temporarily gone. I hate to admit it, but I always checked. Although it did creep me out that a guy I blocked months ago kept popping up on my list like a particularly persistent cold sore.
I agree with those who said "what is the point" of knowing who's viewed you but I couldn't stop checking!

Oh, I hope so!!! I know I sent them a scathing email about that (IMO) stupid feature when I declined to renew my subscription--perhaps others did as well. I might actually consider using match again if it's really gone.

This feature was my main reason for creating "worldsworstdater" - figuring if the damn service was going to be broadcasting to everyone that I was viewing their profile -- that the least I could do was show a presentable picture of a death row inmate as the guy who did the viewing.....
The feature was online as of about 12 - 1 pm EST. I know Match was down yesterday about 4pm - 5pm est and this morning the service appeared down in the AM.
I never read anything into the "who has viewed me" feature and think that all it meant was that someone was curious about your photo and not necessarily attracted. I could see how people would be annoyed by it.
I actually like the feature and can honestly say that it's worked to my advantage. About a month ago a guy browsed me who is a year younger than my set age limit of 40-57. I browsed him back, liked his profile and winked at him, we met the next day and have been dating since. Had the "who's browsed you" feature not been in place we wouldn't have met because, he said he wouldn't have winked since he was younger than my age limit..
I have to say, it's worked for me, so far.

Interesting! I never would have winked at him because I would have figured he wasn't interested since he viewed my profile and didn't contact me, and who needs to be rejected by someone who's already rejected you, LOL???
But you took a different approach and it worked, good for you! Keep us posted on how it's going!

I believe Match is performing some type of data or system maintenance. This feature was gone for most of the day, however popped up briefly early this morning, it is gone now. The help system still mentions it as does a marketing email that I received. I'm not sure they are dumping it - I think they may be doing maintenance on the system and making it periodically unavailable.
The match.com site has been sporadically difficult to access for the last few days.
