WHY...

Do guys post pictures of themselves with no shirt or an open shirt? I received another email on Matchmaker. This one from a guy that has TEN pictures of himself posted. Several close up with his long hair in a pony tail. Several looking pensive with his hair not in a ponytail. And several with his shirt open and his thumb hooked in the front of his pants, pouting (what he thinks to be) sexily at the camera.

Sigh. There must be a normal guy out there. Where is he? Oh I know! All the normal guys that I actually have a great time with on a date either want to be my buddy or wind up "not being into me" or both.

Any with sunglasses? Especially the holding-them-down-to-show-those-sexy-eyes pose? I am picturing Fabio....lol.

Amen.

I've often thought of taking a picture in boxers in front of the mirror where you can see the camera and it's one of those goofy shirt off photos with my gut sticking out as far as it can go.

Problem is every time I get the urge to make a goofy picture/profile I realize that nobody would know it's a goof.

Well sex sells with everything else, so I guess they think that it's a good marketing strategy for themselves! Who knows for sure! What cracks me up also is when they post so many pics and you know with the big difference in looks and in body, uh...mass, that at least part of the pics are very old. Yeah that's a true representation! The funniest pic I've seen though was one where he had whited out the bride next to him and yet her dress was billowing across his tux - im my eye not an appropriate pic to post even if he thought he looked great in that pic!

OMG, I received a wink from what appeared to be a normal looking guy. I was excited to wink back until I looked at all his pictures. He had taken a picture of himself , using the bathroom mirror (yes, you could see the camera), getting out of the shower. He didn't have the towel wrapped around his waist, insteadhe was holding it strategically. All I was able to say was "Ewww."

How funny - you had me cracking up with your description of towel guy or should I say towel-less guy! I'm sure he "thought" he looked sexy! He probably wanted someone to admire his - ah - creativity?! I know I've liked the main pic of some guys, but then when I've seen some of their other pics - I have changed my mind also!
