It's been awhile since I've been on the site. I wanted to get your views about a situation that I don't understand. I have a friend (male) who is engaged and lives with his finance. They have been together for 2 yrs. He had been on a couple of dating sites before they met. He is STILL on two sites!!

There are no new ‘rules’; this isn’t complicated and it’s not hard to understand.

Well, I don't know why tburgundy felt the need to be so harsh to you, but unless you want to tell his fiancee, there isn't much you can do unless you think the guy will listen to you. I actually think that he's afraid to commit to the fiancee & thinking that he might find someone better. I think that happens to some people who do OLD. There is so much choice out there that they can never stop even when they have already found some one. I agree that it's not nice for him to waste the time of the OW--but maybe he's also one of those guys who will constantly email and never actually meet the women, which is why everyone says on here,, don't waste time w/ guys who won't meet you in person.

tburgundy.....Seems like this subject is a sore spot with you. What the two people I wrote about do or don't do...isn't my business. I was asking what other people on this site thought about it. Maybe someone else had gone thru or knew of a similar experience. I think it's sad that people can treat other people that way.

Twiggy, there is a link on the left side of your screen that says 'ignore posts'. If there is someone who posts that you really don't want to converse with, you can select that option and it will block everything they say from your personal view.

Comes in handy sometimes.

Ugh, I would be outraged. There are no rules that condone this kind of behavior.

He does it because he's a pig. A man who has nothing to hide hides nothing.

I would not allow a friend to remain clueless in this situation. She deserves to know. If you saw him on a date with another woman, would you hesitate?

I wish someone had warned me sooner when my husband was cheating, would have saved me a lot of time and heartache.

Thanks for the info about the ignore link. I don't know the girl he is engaged to. I too was clueless about what my husband was doing. And when all was said and done, I found out several people knew what was going on and just kept their mouths shut. Guess maybe that's why this bothers me. Well, I do believe in Karma so hopefully for him....what goes around, comes around.

The way I see it, when someone comes to a public internet message board and asks for feedback they can take it or leave it.

No, I haven't ignored anyone. I have an open mind to ALL opinions.

I don't have a problem with the guy or the girl. I have a problem with those kind of games being played. Ya it's a sore spot from my past as it is with many others on this site.

Thanks for your input and opinion..............
