Why do they do this?

I wink at him, he sends me an email. We exchange photos. He thinks I'm good looking and he wants to get to know me. Okay, so I email him two paragraphs and say I would like to hear more about him.

His reply:

"Hi Ann-Marie,
Thanks for reply. I like your favorites things, is almost everything is there and I see you have a great sense of humor too that is fabulous.
Yes, that time I received an award from Canadian Red Cross.
If you don’t mind let me know, what kind of job you have? And let me know more about your self. I would like to know you better.
Thanks"

Uhh, I already told him stuff about me and now it's his turn! And he still hasn't given me his first name.

What should I reply, that doesn't sound as irritated/bad tempered as I am?

And ignore the poor grammar, English is his second language.

I usually will reply with, "please re-read my previous email". I've had to do that several times, cause obviously men are too busy shuffling through other emails and trying to respond to everyone (at least that's what I think).

2 paragraphs is way too long -- most just scan instead of reading the whole thing. Do what I state above, or just move on!!

Remember, share a little at a time!!

Maybe he is just trying to get the ball rolling. And, if english is his second language, he may need a more direct line of communication. What I mean, is I understand spanish, so long as there aren't a lot of fluff words added. What I don't know I skip, and try to piece it all together in the end. He may have missed some of the key things you were hoping he got out of your email. Just an idea. I wouldn't be frustrated, just re-send your last email without a mention of your frustration. It will say enough that you sent the same email twice. IMO.

Maybe it's ADD;) I've had that happen too. I'll briefly say 2 or 3 things, usually activity related then ask him a couple that begin with "Tell me about..." In your case maybe I'd tell him 1 thing in a little detail then say something like "Well that's enough about me seeing as you haven't even told me your name" and then add a LOL or a ;P to keep it playful. He may have just spaced.
