OK, you know the guy I referred to as my "stalker" who emailed/texted/called 5 times in about 12 hours then I foolishly contacted him again?

At this point I agree you shouldn't talk to him. I think he probably wants to tell you off. I think initially you probably should have just sent him a not interested email and then blocked him instead of disappearing but at this point it would be fruitless to send it. Any chance you could change your phone number without causing you much heartache?

Once you give someone your phone number I think you owe them a thanks but no thanks. Just my opinion. If it's just at email no, but once you've progressed to phone numbers or even even a date I think it's just called common courtesy. But see this is where everyone is different, so while you don't expect an email saying you aren't interested, he apparently did and I would expect one as well, now of course I wouldn't keep calling someone, but again I think he just wants to tell you off at this point.

Oh well ignore it if you aren't willing to change your number, it would annoy me enough to change my number or answer and blow one of those fog horn things into the phone. LOL
