Hi PHX,

Not I, said the Little Red Hen!

Actually, I am cool with that. My 15 yr old son and I are having a garage sale tommorrow, and we have been working on marking things tonight, after going out and enjoying a cheeseburger together, before we began.

His dad picks him up at 2pm for the night tommorrow, and my older son is working, as he is tonight, then going to take His girlfriend to the movies after that. I plan to go to the gym after the sale is over, then head to the mall to browse at the bookstore in the "relationship help" aisle (Cupcakeville), while enjoying an overpriced coffee beverage from Star(spendmy)Bucks. Home by 9pm, as I work my 12 hour day on Sunday, so I need my zzzzz's.

But..good gnus! Have Houston Rodeo tickets for Monday night..Cowboy Heaven--yeeehawww! And next Tuesday night, I have a first date, at a Nice restaurant (whose food does Not have smiling animals on the label, or trays with paper advertising covers), and he is very cute, or the photos seem so!

news at 11....and thanks for asking, you are a sweetheart! :)

Truly,
Cupcake

Just got back from the AZ Science Center. I went with a single's activity group called In and Out (because people drift in and out of activities).

They had a cool James Bond exhibit and an IMAX movie about whales. I had a good time and got out of the house.

This is a good attitude to have -- I find myself looking for for these types of getting out activities than things meant to pair you up. At least this way you've only got one direction to go rather than building hopes and meeting someone in person.

Are you kidding...meet someone at a singles thing??? Heck no...I've never met anyone at a single's activity or at church....

I quit having that expectation eons ago...

I have no dates for this weekend but went to the movies with a friend last night and am going out to dinner, playing pool and then going dancing with a bunch of my friends tonight. I am really looking forward as I don't get out very often.
