..If you've met someone you have been talking to on the net and unfortunately decided on the basis of the first meeting that there is simply no spark there at all , would you..give it another try? As in meet up again just to doublecheck whether your first impression was correct? How important is the mighty SPARK to you anyway? Can you be with someone who does not exactly make your heart flutter?

I think having the spark is VERY important and even after I've given guys the old second chance, it usually just reaffirms my first thought. Everybody's different though, you gotta go with your gut.

If I liked him I would give it up to two more dates - if no spark then goodbye - to me the spark - chemistry - is essential for a long term romantic relationship and it is unfair to continue dating if the other person is into you and looking for a relationship. It's not always about heart flutters - just that chemistry - that spark - needs to be there most of the time.
