Met a guy last night who seemed really nice. We had a nice chat but I knew there was no chemistry for me....

His letter to me after we met solidified that. This is what he wrote. What do you think about this?

What was he thinking with the "Sound like a good deal? line" Isn't that a strange *Joke* to send after a first meeting???

******************************************************************************************
"I had a nice time with you tonight. Except for the fact that you don't know how to drive a stick shift correctly you're OK! :)

Here's a funny one for ya. Sound like a good deal? :)

Two elderly residents, one male and one female,
were sitting alone in the lobby of their nursing home one evening.
The old man looked over and said to the old lady,
"I know just what you're wanting, and for $5 I'll
do it with you right over there in that rocking chair."
The old lady looked surprised but didn't say a word.
The old man continued, "For $10 I'll do it with you on that nice soft
sofa over there, but for $20 I'll take you back to my room, light some
candles, and give you the most romantic evening you've ever had in your life."
The old lady still says nothing but after a couple minutes,
starts digging down in her purse.
She pulls out a wrinkled $20 bill and holds it up.
"So you want the nice romantic evening in my room," says the old man.
"Hell, no," replies the old lady.
"I want four times in the rocking chair!"

I *might* let an e-mail like that slide, BUT, not with a comment like "sound like a good deal?" preceding it.

HI Kersty,

Four months with Tall Man and he has Never sent me anything the least bit "off color" like this, although he might send cute stories, photos, interesting articles from the 'Net...I think that sometimes when men/women do Not know what to do, they revert to the "throwing rocks on the 4th grade playground" behaviour--which does Not work well, when you are a 35 year old accountant!

Sounds like his maturity might be a bit stunted...at any rate, this does not show the kind of resepect YOU Deserve, and I agree that it portrays that he might take sex very lightly. Cool that..just take it Somewhere Else! :)

Ding! Next!

I'm really fine about it.....not really interested in him anyway, but thought his letter was interesting. I actually have a date on Saturday night with another guy :)

Incidentally he sent me a very nice letter this morning telling me that I was one of the few on Match that he would see a second time and that he has been in my shoes many times, having to tell someone thanks but no thanks. He wished me luck and seemed pretty sweet. All an act? Who knows.
