36 posts. Who knew? Ok here's the deal the context of his comment was flirtation. He actually started out by talking about going outside to make snowangels. I said I'd meet him out in the snow. Now I talked to several friends male and female. Here is what they said:
Friend #1 (highly independent not afraid to say sex gal): "He's seeing if you can play. He likes independent assertive women, feels comfortable with you and wanted to play. You kept him in check and he probably liked that."
Friend #2 (very appropriate but underneath band loving gal who is with the guy she met online): "Hell we used to say a lot more...."
Friend #3 (very shy male who was on match and is currently dating a girl from there): "I've never been ballsy enough to say anything like that. No wait I did once but it wasn't meant to be sexual. She had a fun personality and I made a comment that wasn't meant to be rude but she took it that way. She YELLED at me after. Probably why I never did."
Friend #4 (male half of band girl): "He was flirting. See guys don't think like that. They just go with the flow. Girls read into every little thing. Either way you checked him in a way that didn't tell him he was a loser."
All agreed to one thing that I have now decided for myself: I need to trust my judgement. I'm a great gal looking for someone who "fits" with me. I am still talking to two other gentlemen so whatever. He was my favorite and only time and I can tell. Thanks for all your input, though. It helps too.
