Yes, thanks lg. Thanks, thanks, thanks. I am getting so many more responses with my new picture. I changed my profile only slightly, but added one brand new picture I took on a day I think I looked pretty good and I am getting a LOT of responses on Matchmaker and even a few on Match. And they are CUTE guys! I think I am pretty attractive, but actually having cute guys respond to my profile is kind of a new concept.

But as we know, we can always improve. Would anyone mind taking a look at the new and improved pic and profile on Match? I am vexer17 on Match. I just made a few changes so you might wait until tomorrow to see the new and improved. Thanks in advance.

Still not following the head, body, candid rule? You are a Jennifer Anniston lookalike - which I hope is a good thing..

Well, I am going to work on the full-length tonight after work. I'd intended to try a couple this weekend, but I wound up babysitting my brother's rugrats Saturday night (meant in the most loving of terms) and didn't even wind up getting a shower yesterday. I guess that could have gone for candid? :-) I also have a camera that I need to get developed that I think might have some candids from football season on them so I need to get that done this week.

And thanks - I've never really figured out a celebrity I looked like but have been told a lot of different people - Julia Roberts, that girl with the curly hair from Felicity and a few others along the way. I definitely consider Jennifer Aniston a compliment!

I don't have much in the way of critiques, other than to say it's a pretty good profile and that a full-body shot (and a candid) one would be good. I'd also drop at least one of your pics, probably the one where you're looking over your right shoulder at the camera- it's an unflattering angle for you, plus it looks like it's cropped to hide someone you're cheek-to-cheek with.

Can you actually get dates in the Dallas area being an OU fan? :)

You say "latest blockbuster" twice. Maybe you meant to, but I think it's redundant, and it also says the same thing over again. (that's a little redundant joke for those scoring at home.)

Overall, good profile. And it's shocking how much difference a good picture makes, isn't it?

Good feedback and I took out the redundant repeating myself! :-)

Actually, you'd be surprised on the OU thing. There are a lot of us Sooners around. BUT the guy that I have been emailing with the last couple of days (just gave him my digits today I think) is.... a Longhorn. We have joked that it could be a problem! :-) But he seems nice so far and we share quite a few things in common so we'll see how it goes (in fact, I think he just called - I didn't recognize the # and I don't usually pick up my cell at work).

It really is surprising on the picture. I'm glad I finally got a new one. Now for the full-length shot. Acutally, I was cheek-to-cheek with a girl friend of mine, but I see what you mean. I always thought it was one that at least I didn't look like a deer in the headlights and had a nice smile.
