Which do you like better? Which yields better results for you?

I'm torn....I always had better results on Match, but was on there last so this time I joined both, but only paid for Match. I can't afford to pay for both.

Match for me was better. I was on both, and although you got MORE results from Yahoo, the profiles had more information on Match. I liked the questions they asked, and the quality of men looking for real relationships seemed to be a few notches higher on Match. I never once had an actual date from Yahoo.

I prefer Match. I tried Yahoo once (for 3 months) in between and though I got a lot of "ice-breakers" and responded to several, I only ended up meeting one person. I met my last two boyfriends on match.

My profile has been on Yahoo (not a paid subscriber) for about 2-3 days and I haven't heard a thing from anyone....yet on Match where it's been up a day longer I've had about 3-4 responses. For some reason (even though I met my last boyfriend on Yahoo) nothing's going on for me there.

I have more luck with Yahoo! Personals. I have met probably close to 20 guys (most in the past year) and probably 90% of them were from Yahoo! I think maybe the instant messenger feature helps, because I'm on messenger for work and I can talk with a lot of guys that way. Also, I think guys my age (I'm 26, so I'm looking to meet men 25-35) are more prone to use Yahoo! at least in my area. I'm also on Match, but I find I only get winks from people above my age range, mostly in their 50s or WAY out of my location range. Today I got a wink from a guy in California and one from the UK and I'm in Cincinnati!

The guy I'm still hung up on I met through Yahoo. I was getting a number of different men sending instant messages to me through that web site. However, in recent weeks, I have not gotten any messages from anyone via the Yahoo site. It's almost like there is not that many new people putting their profiles on that are within my criteria range. I recently put my profile on Match.com and did e-mail back and forth a guy (one I had dinner with the other night). Right now, I seem to be going through the same thing with Match; few new people joining and not a lot of messages from interested people. Although I did get a message from a guy who's had his profile on there for a while. I may e-mail him back. He lives about an hour and a half away from me, so that might not be a good thing. As I said, I feel like I'm going through a "dry spell". :0
