OK, so I've been going back and forth with the guy from 8 at 8 and quite frankly, the email conversations are ungodly boring. He hasn't asked for my number, he hasn't asked me out and honestly, I'm to the point where I don't care. He sent an email on Friday and I didn't answer back and I'm pretty sure I won't. Sigh, another one bites the dust.

Still no response from the guy I was excited about on eH. He's about to get closed. Another one that didn't put his picture out until the last stage of communication and he is SO not attractive but I feel guilty closing him. Then another one I am praying is simply ESL. He came up with two questions on his own:

<>

And the doozy

<>

Yes, these are DIRECT copy and paste. Oh and last I heard, weren't women in the Middle Ages treated like second class citizens with absolutely no rights? If they didn't have a son, they were often cast off and many died in childbirth or had to watch their husbands take younger, hotter mistresses when they got all old and fat from being pregnant every year. Not to mention - SPELL/GRAMMAR CHECK PLEASE!!!!!!

I think I'm hanging up the OLD hat when the eH membership is up in a week. I may try myspace or CL, but not for a while. I'm beat down by the whole thing.

Stacey -
Do most of the guys on MySpace contact you for interest in a realtioship/dating? I posted a profile, but I seem to be getting oddball responses and friend requests from people who have no interest in dating. It looks like most of the guys are out to collect soft-porn pictures of women for their profiles and that's about it.

Just wondering what your experience has been.

It does get old to have a string of blah e-mails and contacts with people who don't do much for you.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I really don't get the guys who feel the need to e-mail forever and never ask for a number or a meet.

All I've ever really had is the string of blah emails or the ones that I get excited about that ghost.

Maybe a Lady in the Middle Ages would like emailing back and forth for weeks on end, but not me.

Oh, yeah, I've gotten plenty of those, and numerous "new friend requests" from various different bands and stuff.

You just have to keep laughing or it will drive you crazy. :-)

I'd think he's ESL, but the sad fact is, most native English speaks write like that. Ick.

LOL!

With the Internet, the lady in the middle ages would have seen what was available to her in the world and bolted!
