How old are you?
What's the youngest you'd date?
What's the oldest you'd date?
Is there any way you'd be flexible about this?
What was the biggest age discrepancy ever between you and someone you dated? And how old were each of you at the time?
My responses:
I'm 35
The youngest I'd date is 30.
The oldest I'd date is 42.
I can be flexible in either direction. I take it on a case-by-case basis. As far as going younger is concerned, the guy would have to be mature and responsible. He'd have to be more or less in the same place in life that I am - and ready to settle down into a long-term, commited relationship. As far as going older is concerned, he'd have to be young looking and young-at-heart. I can't see myself dating anyone of any age whose lifestyle

Is there any way you'd be flexible about this? I also can be flexible in either direction and also on a case-by-case basis. If the guy was younger he would have to be mature, focused about what he wants out of life and not want his own biological children (as I cannot have anymore) as most younger guys don't have any children and often want them. He would have to be ready for a long-term, commited relationship. Going older - he would have to be healthy and young looking. I think that 10 years younger and 12 years old it the maximum's I would be willing to vary my normal limits.

Younger: My last relationship - I was 36 and he was 30.
Older: Really, Only 3 years older if you mean a relationship (we started dating when I was 17 and he was 20 - it last almost 7 years). If you mean just a date or two then I did go on two dates with a guy that was 42 when I was 35.
When I was 19, I had a huge crush on a guy who was 25.
How old are you? **44**

Is there any way you'd be flexible about this? **I will never say never....:)**
What was the biggest age discrepancy ever between you and someone you dated? And how old were each of you at the time? **I dated a few men who were 6 years younger.....in my early 30's**
I'm 37.
I'm 46, and the age range I have posted is 36-55 (so basically 10 years in either direction). I doubt I'd go younger (and I'm thinking of raising my minimum...36 seems so young to me now ;-)). I *might* go a year or two older...but it's hard to think of myself dating a 58 year old, even though I'm 46! But if he had a great profile, and actually liked to DO the things I like to do, I certainly wouldn't rule him out on age alone.
Biggest age discrepance was when I was 21 and "dated" a partner at my firm (I was a paralegal) who was 40. I say "dated" in quotes because, although he took me out to a lot of nice places, it was pretty much all about sex. What can I say, I was young and dumb ;-). I have some great stories from our time together, though...including the time we were making out on the stairs of a club and I fell down the stairs and broke my leg. I had to be in a cast for several weeks and I guess the firm was so nervous about liability, they paid for my cab fare back and forth between home and work every day! I haven't thought about that in a long time...thanks for the trip down memory lane ;-).

I'm 45 and the youngest I would date would be 37 or 38. The oldest would be 53 or so.
I had a vacation fling with a 20 year old when I was 30. I've never been in to getting serious with someone too young. I just can't see it.
Sidebar: my mother is married to someone who is 21 years younger than her. He is as old as my older brother (48)...At first it was weird, but hey they get along and they've been together for about 20 years or so.

I'm 40.
Most is 8 years younger and 1 year older.
I don't have an age restriction, but I need you to be able
to rollerblade/mountain bike/kung fu fight/carry your own
backpack in europe.
Not every day mind you. But willing to rise when the occasion demands.

I've said this before - I have a hard time finding guys my age or older who can keep up, have some similar interests, aren't fogeys/couch potatos. I really like dating guys in their early/mid thirties. They tend to have their heads on pretty straight by then, we have enough in common to get on well, and enough differences to keep in interesting. The hard part is finding guys that age who don't want kids. I'm DONE. That's non-negotiable.
warning - I'm in a silly mood today - boss is out, he, he.
