Am I just being paranoid?

Say I got a little tipsy (all of us there were) at a get-together of about ten folks over the weekend. Say I may have accidentally started macking on one of the guys in attendance and may have also "bumped" into his lips a couple of times. Say I am rubenesque in appearance (which I am) and I visited his myspace page, for the first time since the alleged snogging incident, today, and his quote had been changed to: "I don't think I'm ready for this jelly". Would I have reason to be paranoid because I AM!?!

I've known the guy for years and we have actually stolen a kiss before. I am not romantically interested in him, but he is somewhat attractive AND I was DUH-RUNK. I had not had a proper meal before I met up with everyone and for those of you wondering, none of us were driving, this took place at a friends house. Anyway, it doesn't seem his nature to be insensitive but, he doesn't know that I have a myspace account.

Thoughts?

Forgive me for being dumb, but how are you jelly?

LMAO.

You know, jelly, as in Beyonce's Bootylicious song, meaning, her big butt? "I don't think you're ready for this jelly, I don't think you're ready ... " I know you've heard that song. Isn't that what it means? I thought she was referring to her "thickness". Maybe not.

Hey, I put the word paranoid in the title of the post, didn't I? Doesn't that exonerate me from any foolishness which may be running rampant within the body of the post?

He's probably far from falling for me. I don't even know if he finds me attractive. I mean, we smooched a 'lil, but that doesn't mean anything. We were drinking.

I thought I spelled it all out in my first post. Basically, when I saw the quote, I thought that he was making light of the situation. The making out started mutually but after a couple more shots, I think I was coming on a little strong and I cannot forget that he's an average sized guy and I am a-jiggly like-a the jelly ; ) I thought perhaps it was a reference, not a good one, but again, I can be paranoid.

Maybe it was presumptuous of me to think that he would have changed his quote b/c of something that happened concerning moi. Whether it was or not, I'm moving on. I've spent enough time on it already. It probably wasn't in reference to me at all, anyway.

Well, I wouldn't say I'm having a rough time, but I do miss him somethin' awful.

You know when we like a guy we often assume that when he writes something or says something it automatically has something to do with us. It probably has nothing whatsoever to do with you.

Jennifer Hudson star of the new movie Dreamgirls was just quoted as saying "You're all going to have to get used to my Jelly" basically laughing off the fat police

Maybe he heard it on E! or Access Hollywood or Entertainment tonight or somewhere and regurgitated it on his myspace page by saying "I'm not ready for this jelly" or something like that????

I think you need to put your overactive imagination to rest. LOL

Smile,

Deirdre

I was just giving you a hard time.

Why is it that we always assume the bad stuff is about us, but never the good stuff?
