Ambassador of love?

I just received an e-mail from a singles group pitching a service called "Love Ambassadors."

Here's the description: "Unlike traditional matchmaking services, you are not limited to dates within a small group of clients. Instead, your Love Ambassador will be your personal representative out in the community, constantly networking and making contacts on your behalf…a virtually unlimited pool of people to tap into to find just the right dates for you."

So, my question is... would any of you hire a "love ambassador" to network for you and find you dates? Or would you rather just network for yourself and find your own dates?

Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match??

Heck no. Just seems weird to me, I'd rather do it myself.

Yeah, I thought it was weird. Can you imagine someone flirting on your behalf and then saying "oh, it's not for me, it's for my client." Very odd, and it seems like so many companies are trying to capitalize on the hordes of us who are looking for love. I'd hate to be the "product" in some business venture.
