amount of contact?

Let's say you've been seeing a guy for about 2 weeks. He tells you he likes you, things seem good when you're together, but on the phone he seems sort of distant and says he's not a phone person. How often should you expect to hear from him? If he really likes you, do you expect daily contact this soon (let's say he has your e-mail address or could text message you). Or is it normal to not have daily contact with someoen you've only known a few weeks? I cant decide...

Exactly. I don't think it's really the *amount* of contact the OP is having a problem with but rather feeling insecure as to his interest level (and suspecting, correctly I think, that he's not *all* that interested).
If he had set up another date for this weekend the last time they talked, I doubt she'd be concerned that he didn't call her today, for example.

I just don't know that I'd have that much to say!
What does it take?

If he WAS interested she wouldn't be complaining about the *amount* of contact because he WOULD BE contacting her. He wouldn't be telling her to call him.
I completely agree that he's not making an effort and isn't really interested.
Yeah, I get that...and your point is???
She wouldn't necessarily need *daily* contact if she *knew* he was interested (and he can indicate his interest in other ways besides calling her every single day, such as setting up another date), is all I'm saying.

I doubt this Shy. You post here almost everyday and you have a lot to say.
I think he did call (or email maybe).
well he wrote back said i missed out last night on seeing a movie...um he didnt ask me!
Cant figure him out...maybe he just wants an e-mail buddy?
I think I'd reply back and tell him that if he wants to see me, he has to ask.
